Rehabilitation of Beverly Bridge
30000022
The National Register of Historic Places listed Beverly Railroad Bridge, a half-mile long structure, was constructed in 1909 as part of the transcontinental line from Chicago to Puget Sound. This funding will rehabilitate the Beverly Bridge to preserve its historical significance and make it suitable for multi-use recreation, as it is the primary and last component needed to fully connect the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail. The bridge will be open for nonmotorized use such as hiking, horse-riding and cycling. This project also provides an opportunity and ability for the Kittitas Public Utility District to add power redundancy to unincorporated areas of Grant County.

2019-21 Heritage Barn Preservation Program
30000024
Presently, there are 722 barns listed on the Washington Heritage Barn Register. As outlined in the Heritage Barns: Statewide Survey and Physical Needs Assessment, Washington's heritage barns face a variety of challenges, each of which increase the collective threat to their preservation and continued use. The high cost of barn maintenance leads to disinvestment, increasing the levels of deferred maintenance. This grant program provides incentives and preservation and rehabilitation of historic barns in the state.
