How to register for the DEI Empowerment Conference
Step 1:
Click the DEI Empowerment Conference registration link.
Step 2:
Verify your email address so Zoom knows who you are and if you are a part of the approved list of potential attendees. Zoom will send you a verification code. Once you verify your email address, it will take you to the registration page. This is how we restrict access to only folks with approved email addresses (domains).

Step 3:
Choose the option to register with your Zoom account associated with your email, or directly with your email address.

Step 4:
Join the Lobby to check out the conference presentation schedule and exhibition space.

Step 5:
From the Lobby go to the Sessions tab. Review the conference sessions. Bookmark the sessions you are hoping to attend.

Step 6:
Go to the Itinerary tab. Your conference schedule should appear.

Step 7:
Click the “Export Itinerary as ICS file” button.
Step 8:
Check your browser downloads.

Step 9:
Open the invite file. It may have a slightly different name than seen here.
Important: To import your schedule into your calendar, use Outlook Classic.
Some versions of the newer Outlook app may not support opening or importing these files.
Step 10:
Navigate to the Outlook dialogue box that pops up. Select the Import option. The conference sessions you bookmarked will be added as individual meetings to your outlook calendar. If you have not selected individual sessions, the invite will block off all four conference full days. Whether you have the full day invite or the individual sessions blocked off on your calendar, you can access any and all sessions by joining the lobby during the live presentations.
