Mark Adreon
Vice President of Disability: IN Washington / Diversity Inclusion and Equity Council

Mark has worked with the Department of Services for the Blind for over 19 years heading the self-employment efforts and working on inclusion at the state and national level for people with disabilities. Mark currently serves on the state’s Diversity Inclusion and Equity Council, serves as Vice President of Disability: In Washington (state affiliate of the national organization), worked on planning for the state’s Disability Inclusion Network, created and staffs the Barrier and Access Solutions committee (BASC) a standing committee to the state’s WorkForce Board, serve as one of two state representatives for the National Employment Team (NET) part for the national PR system, developed and featured in the film “Blind Sided”, served as Co-Chair and Commissioner for the City of Seattle’s Commission for People with Disabilities and King County’s Human Rights Commission. Mark works with WIOA partners to create inclusive career pathways for DSB customers and people with disabilities. Mark has received awards for advocacy from the Governor’s Committee on Employment and Disabilities, the Northwest Access Fund for Excellence in developing the self-employment program at DSB, and recognition from the Governor on service programs.
