Now that 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms have been sent to vendors, there are a few important dates to remember.

  • 1/23/26 – Last day to adjust 1099-NEC forms.
  • 2/2/26 – Account Ability is open for agencies to make corrections to 1099-NEC forms and adjustments to the 1099-MISC forms.
  • 3/20/26 – Last day to adjust 1099-MISC forms.
  • 3/23/26 – OFM e-files 1099-MISC data with the IRS.
  • 4/1/26 – Account Ability re-opens for agencies.
