Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is a detailed set of financial statements for the state of Washington that complies with the accounting standards set by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). The ACFR consists of three main sections:
- Introductory section – provides general information about the state, its organization structure, economic condition, and major initiatives.
- Financial section – includes the independent auditor’s report, basic financial statements, notes to the financial statements, and required and other supplementary information.
- Statistical section – provides facts and figures about financial trends in Washington, revenue and debt capacity, demographic and economic information, and the operations of state government.
