Contingency planning for state agency operations

In May 2015, OFM asked agencies for input on a contingency plan for government operations in the event the Legislature does not pass the 2015–17 operating and capital budgets before July 1, 2015. OFM reviewed agency responses and prepared a summary of potential state agency impacts. OFM’s summary and the agency contingency plans will be updated as new information becomes available.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Governor Inslee has signed the 2015–17 state operating and capital budgets. Agencies have been instructed to rescind all temporary layoff, reduction in work hours and emergency leave without pay notices sent to employees June 23.

All state agencies will be open for business Wednesday, July 1, and state employees will be on regular work schedules.
