RCW 27.20
The State Law Library is the primary repository for legal research materials used by all branches of state government.
Agency Mission
The State Law Library provides access to legal information resources for the judicial, legislative, and executive branches of state and local government, and to citizens of the state of Washington. The activities of the State Law Library improve the administration of justice by ensuring access to legal information by all citizens. Services of the State Law Library also improve efficiency for the judiciary and for other public servants by making legal resources available in a timely manner.
