Job Classification Specification Notice Effective June 6, 2024

With the passage of Substitute Senate Bill 6157, State Human Resources is working to add the following language to the legal requirements section of each job class specification listed on this website.

“Persons legally authorized to work in the U.S. under federal law, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients, are eligible for employment unless prohibited by other state or federal law.”

While this language is not currently identified on each specification, as our team is working to update the language, it is currently in effect. This language impacts all job classifications as of June 6, 2024.
