County Medicare trends and variations in Washington
Presented below is a series of graphs displaying trends for 2007-18 in each county in Washington and the state in measures associated with Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries. The graphs are divided into 3 sections.
The data source for Sections I and III is the Medicare Geographic Variation Public Use File (February 2021), available from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The data source for Section II is the Medicare Chronic Conditions public use file (January 2021), also available from CMS.
This dashboard reports results at the statewide and Accountable Communities of Health-level for a set of claims-based Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures including prevention, access and overuse measures.
