​​Commerce is proposing new agency request legislation and related funding in the 25-27 operating budget to create and implement energy efficiency standards for replacement tires.​
Methods for providing public comment for agency consideration as part of the environmental justice assessment.
Commerce will conduct both broad-based and focused engagement in the fall prior to introduction, including: ​A public workshop and/or listening session, held virtually to increase accessibility ​An online survey ​Inviting community based organizations who have engaged on the Transportation Electrification Strategy and other Energy Division activities to participate in engagement activities and/or smaller meetings ​Requesting information and feedback, written or through meetings, from small business tire retailers and fleets​
