Implementing Redirects
Redirects are managed by web editors with the Administrator role. Please open a Web Help Ticket if you need to implement a redirect for your page or document.

All redirects are managed in the Redirection tool.
- Navigate to Tools > Redirection

2. Click Add New
In Source URL: enter the path of the original source page. You should not include https://ofm.wa.gov/ to the url.
In Target URL: enter the path of the new page. If you are linking to another page or file on the OFM website, not not include https://ofm.wa.gov/ in the URL. If you are redirecting to a different website, do include the full URL with its domain.

Click Add Redirect
3. You can click Check Redirect to confirm it is impelmented correctly. The second URL should have a green 200 code next to it.

Redirecting a Legacy Drupal Document
The process for redirecting a document using the Redirection tool is the same as a page, with one important caveat:
If your source URL is a legacy Drupal document URL that looks like this:
https://ofm.wa.gov/sites/default/files/public/itsystems/FPMT/Request%20New%20User%20Account.pdf
You will need to:
- delete the https://ofm.wa.gov
- add /wp-content/uploads/ to the front of your source URL so it looks like:
/wp-content/uploads/sites/default/files/public/itsystems/FPMT/Request%20New%20User%20Account.pdf
