Page Templates & Content Modules
Getting to know the layout options for the web pages you manage — and how to get started.

Overview
A lot of the content you’ll be editing, updating, or creating net-new will live in the Pages section of the WordPress admin panel.
Most Division web editors will be working in one of three page templates (the Budget team get a couple more):
- Basic Page
- Basic Page with Tabs
- Glossary
These templates were designed with Division web editors in mind. They should give you all the content modules you need for your pages to shine.
Website “super admins” will also manage a few others:
- Hub Page
- Homepage
And some Divisions will have access to specific Content Types that are pre-formatted to support their work (think CBAs and EJA notices).
Getting started
Cleaning up your imported Drupal content?
Ready to start building a new page from scratch?
Looking for how to edit/update other Content Types?
Basic Page Template
The Basic template is our most versatile page type. Using the Basic Page template gives you access to OFM’s entire toolkit of content modules, as well as a robust WYSIWYG rich text editor (similar to what you’re used to from Drupal).

Basic Page with Tabs
The tabbed version of the Basic Page template allows you to to group relevant content in one centralized place, so a site visitor doesn’t have to keep clicking deeper to find the page they’re looking for. The goal of this page template is to decrease the number “table of contents” pages on OFM’s site – the ones that simply exist to link to a short list of pages and/or files.
