DebtBook
Implemented in fiscal year 2024, the state of Washington uses DebtBook, a software platform for lease and subscription-based IT arrangement (SBITA) tracking to comply with GASB Statements 87 and 96, respectively. DebtBook is a cloud-based SaaS product that will be used for the following purposes:
- Track all right-to-use lease agreements and SBITAs that exceed the state’s capitalization threshold
- Provide reports to record year-end journal entries for leases and SBITAs
- Provide reports for disclosure forms and note disclosures
