TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR
Develop and implement department policies and procedures;
Coordinate emergency procedures with institution administrative staff;
Serve as liaison with other departments in the investigation and resolution of telephone communications problems between departments and/or with the public;
Assist in the preparation of the department budget;
Assist in planning new telephone systems;
Arrange for telephone equipment repairs, installations or modifications;
May perform the duties of Telephone Communications Operators;
Perform related duties as required.
High School Diploma, or GED Certificate;
Three years of experience (including one year of telephone lead or supervisory experience) as a Telephone Communications Operator. Six months of additional qualifying experience may substitute for required education.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
