Class Series Concept

This group performs work of graduated complexity in a training capacity in order to achieve journey level status in the L&I Auditor 3 classification. The L&I Auditor 3 is an apprenticeable job that has been approved by the Washington Apprenticeship and Training Council.

Definition

Positions at this level are distinguished by assignment as an apprentice trainee for the journey Level class receiving on the job and academic training to achieve journey status.  These positions spend approximately 4000 hours of training to learn all the journey level aspects of the job.

Learns how to perform journey level work.

There may be instances where individual positions must have additional licenses or certification. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure the appropriate licenses/certifications are obtained for each position. 

Desirable Qualifications

Approximately 4000 hours of training to achieve journey level status.

New classes effective:  January 1, 2006; Apprentice Auditor 1 (replaces 13760 Apprentice – Labor & Industries Auditor 3).
