Salary schedules

Salaries may vary depending on whether a position is non-represented or union represented. Check with the human resources office at your agency or institution to find out whether you’re represented and who represents you.

***Effective July 1, 2025 | WPEA ONLY: Range 30, Step D is considered the new minimum of the salary range for the 7/1/2024 salary schedules. Effective January 1, 2025, the Washington minimum wage is $16.66 per hour.

Historical Information: Effective July 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024: Range 30, Step C was considered the new minimum of the salary range for the 7/1/2024 salary schedules.  January 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024: Range 30, Step D was considered the new minimum of the salary range for the 7/1/2023 salary schedules.

Jobs listed under the “Classified Job and Salary Listing” that have a salary range of “Special” are not paid on the standard progression salary schedules. These classified jobs are either Apprentice, or Certificated Teacher jobs.
