WVH HVAC Retrofit

The skilled nursing building at the Washington Veterans Home was designed with a passive cooling system, which has been found to have limited effectiveness during hot summer months. The skilled nursing building is overly warm and the issue is made worse during wildfire season when air quality is poor and residents cannot open their windows. This project will retrofit an HVAC system to effectively cool the skilled nursing building at the Washington Veterans Home. This is the final phase of the project, which began in 2019-21. A reappropriation of funds is also granted.
