Funds repairs and upgrades of building, infrastructure, and grounds of the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, Washington Veterans Home in Port Orchard, Spokane Veterans Home in Spokane, and Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake. The age of many department buildings require updating and maintenance to meet the needs of the facility. Preservation projects provide efficient upgrades to building systems, updates of life safety systems, and replacement of worn out and outdated finishes.
