Policy Changes
Increase Private/Local Authority
The Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) receives private/local funds from a number of sources, including grants and sponsorships for the Governor’s Arts and Heritage Awards. These funds supplement the agency’s state funding and expands ArtsWA’s capacity to deliver statewide programs and activities. This request is for an increase of private/local expenditure authority to enable the agency to fully utilize anticipated additional funds for FY25 and beyond.
