Policy Changes
Constituent Mgmt Implementation
Funding is provided for constituent management system implementation and pilot user licensing costs. (General Fund - State)
Network Monitoring Tool
Funds are provided to upgrade the legislative network monitoring and alerting system to support more complex systems providing hybrid and remote work, session, and committee capabilities. (General Fund - State)
Enterprise Project Manager
Funds are provided for one FTE to manage critical enterprise projects (constituent management, phone system replacement, public website replacement, etc.) (General Fund - State)
Public Website Replacement
The agency will use this funding to replace the public website infrastructure which reaches its end of life in December 2025 and will no longer be supported by its vendor. (General Fund - State)
Cybersecurity & Data Audits
Funding is provided for a 2024 cybersecurity audit as required by RCW 43.105.215. An additional data sharing audit is required by various legislative branch data sharing agreements. (General Fund - State)
Website and Custom App Support
Funding is provided for FTEs to replace the public website and infrastructure and other operationally critical custom legislative applications. (General Fund - State)
