Brief description of significant agency actions for which the agency is initiating an environmental justice assessment.
The State Board of Heath (Board) and Washington Department of Health are conducting an environmental Justice assessment on proposed changes to regulations (WAC 246-290-315 and WAC 246-290-71006) to update Group A public water supply protections from certain chemicals called Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). Group A systems have at least 15 service connections or serve at least 25 people per day for 60 or more days of the year.
