Typical Work
With delegated authority, interview and recommend selection of applicants, train new employees, assign and schedule work, act upon leave requests, conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend disciplinary action;
Inspect parking areas and equipment, e.g., gatehouses and signs;
Work with departments to develop special parking arrangements for special functions, athletic events, meetings and conferences;
Assist in developing and conducting on-going training sessions for parking personnel;
Collect money from meters, ticket machines and gatehouses;
Legal Requirement(s)
Persons legally authorized to work in the U.S. under federal law, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients, are eligible for employment unless prohibited by other state or federal law.
Desirable Qualifications
Two years of experience as a Traffic Guide or equivalent
AND
Possess a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
