Definition
Assists in administrative, planning, systems, fiscal, social service or management-oriented projects in a State agency. Positions allocated to this series are designed to provide para-professional training in defined occupational fields. Incumbents will receive training in departmental procedures and will be assigned productive tasks and assignments in a specific professional area.
Typical Work
Under general supervision completes specific assignments; may assist higher level technicians in completion of tasks;
Performs other work as required.

Desirable Qualifications
One year of experience as Administrative Trainee; or completion of junior year of college; or completion of two years at an academically accredited college or university and one year of productive work experience.
