One Washington program update, summer 2018

August 3, 2018

One Washington provided an update to state employees in a live presentation on July 30 and a repeat presentation on July 31, 2018. The update provided a fresh orientation to the effort.

Some of the topics included in the update were the program’s guiding principles, what’s in scope, the implementation timeline for upcoming projects, data integration and data governance. A review of the Program’s budget and efforts to help agencies understand impacts, change management and next steps were included.

The update was made available on-premises and via Skype. All state employees who have previously requested update notifications and newsletter participation were notified via email in advance of the dates and times. The presentation included opportunity for all participants to ask questions of program staff and a chat moderator conveyed questions from the online audience.
