DRAFT – Washington Administrative & Accounting Manual (WAAM)
The Washington Administrative and Accounting Manual (WAAM) will replace the State Administrative and Accounting Manual (SAAM) at Workday go-live.
Statewide Accounting is currently drafting WAAM. This page will be updated periodically with draft chapters as they are completed. The draft chapters will change as we continue to receive feedback and review internally.

DRAFT SAAM to WAAM crosswalk (04.01.2025)
The SAAM to WAAM crosswalk is currently in progress. This crosswalk will continue to be updated to ensure all sections in SAAM are cross walked to WAAM or, if not cross walked, an explanation will be provided
Agencies are encouraged to review these chapters and submit questions or comments here so updates can be considered prior to finalizing WAAM and before Workday go-live. Statewide Accounting is still reviewing the chapters for spelling and grammar.
