FY 2025 GL Reconciliation Certifications are due September 17, 2025

August 27, 2025

By September 17, 2025, each Agency’s Head and Chief Financial Officer must sign General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation Certification to certify the statements on the form are true. This certification is required to support the statements in the Financial Certification and to ensure accurate, reconciled AFRS General Ledger balances are converted to Workday before go-live.

Your agency’s OFM Statewide Accountant has emailed your agency a spreadsheet with your agency’s GL accounts that must be reconciled as of fiscal year 2025 close. It includes all real (balance sheet) GL accounts down to the subsidiary GL. The final FY25 balances as of Phase 2 Close should be reconciled before the certification is signed.

Agencies must provide an explanation and the plan to reconcile any GL accounts not reconciled by the date the certification is signed.

Submit the certification and any attachments to OFMAccounting@ofm.wa.gov and copy your agency’s OFM Statewide Accountant.
