The Disability Inclusion Network (DIN) is excited to launch and bring information, resources, focus, and inclusion strategies to support the State of Washington as an employer of choice for employees with disabilities. You are invited to attend our inaugural event on Friday morning, August 9th from 9–12:00.

Who should attend?

  • State employees with disabilities and their allies
  • HR professionals including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practitioners
  • Agency Executives, Deputy Directors, and their leadership
  • Supervisors and employees interested in disability inclusion in their perspective agencies or units

Why should you attend?

  • To hear from state leaders on why disability inclusion is a value-add proposition for the state
  • To support the DIN and connect to resources for disability inclusion in your workplace
  • To learn and understand the value of employees with disabilities
  • To hear lived experiences from employees with disabilities working for the state
  • To experience innovative advocacy strategies and team building ideas
  • To connect to other people with disabilities working for the State of Washington
