The BRG exists to help Washington State create safe and inclusive workplaces where every LGBTQ+ employee can bring their full authentic self to work, enabling them to do their best work every day for the people of Washington. The BRG will provide resources and support to employees and the stakeholders serviced by state agencies.

Dear RAIN Members,

Out of an abundance of caution with regard to public health concerns related to COVID-19, the following changes have been made RAIN's March General Membership Meeting on 3/19/2020:

• The general meeting will no longer be physically meeting at Labor & Industries.
• An online “community check-in” will be held instead, participants can join the meeting by logging into Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/758263805.
• The community check-in will be from 2 to 3pm.
• There will be no subcommittee breakouts, subcommittee chairs will reach out if they wish to schedule a separate meeting.

This decision is based on the guidance from DOH, the Governor’s office and State HR, that large gatherings should either be canceled or offered as teleconference only.

We hope to meet again in April. Mark your calendar now for our April General Membership Meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at the Labor & Industries Auditorium. We will keep you informed in the event those plans change.

• We will no longer be sending out calendar invites. We have created a calendar of all currently scheduled meetings that you can use to place your own holds on your calendar. See below calendar for full details about meeting location.
